Pirate Pitch First Shutout of the Season (May 2)

It was a sweltering day at McDonald field as The Stor-U-Self Pirates pitched the first shutout of the season over the Rivals Baseball Royals led by 3 dominant innings from Julian Ragosa with 7 strikeouts followed by a gutsy 3 innings by Aiden Rood who also had 7 strikeouts.

The Pirates offense was led by Aiden Rood with 2 monster solo homers. Macklin O'Flynn and Rocco Bottari each scored two runs thanks to the 4 runs batted in by Quinn Pimentel.

Connor Carson was solid on the mound for the Royals but the bats of the Pirates proved to be too much.
