Angels edged out Indians on ENKA day (May 20)

The Winchester Orthodontics Angels edged out the Theater Service Station Indians in a 12-10 win, played under perfect weather, Saturday afternoon of ENKA weekend Starting pitching was strong on both sides. Robby Scapicchio got the Angels off to a great start; while Griffin Lynch threw very well as the Indian's starter.

Through 3 innings, the Angels led 5-1, thanks to clutch hitting from catcher Brian Langridge, first baseman Nick Russo and 3rd baseman Grady Gaul. In the second half of the game, the Indians came back in a big way with timely hits from Grant Garrett and Andrew Buck, to narrow the Angels lead to just two runs. Buck and Nate Bopp both pitched solidly in the second half for the Indians.

For the Angles, Tim Parsons, Addison Walsh and Dan Cahill each took turns pitching to hang on for the win.
