The Dodgers kept the scoring going with two runs in the bottom of the second as Liam Poole, Wilder Murphy, Ryan DeLucia, and Henry Wassarman all reached base. The Cardinals took command in the fifth inning, scoring four to take an 8-4 lead. Quinn Falvey started the inning with a single and Crawford and A. Falvey loaded the bases with walks. Nakajima then added to his RBI total with a double and Ellix Sandhu followed with a two-RBI single. Will Massa and Schlesinger added hits to complete the big Cardinals inning.
